"NO! Brother, no! I just got you back!! You can't go again!" -Alphonse Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa
I've been meaning to upload this for a while now, so I figured I'd stick it up in the meantime while I finish art trades and kiribans. <3
This part of Conqueror of Shamballa made me cry so hard the first time. ;_; For those who don't know, 'Kyoudai' means 'siblings', or more accurately, 'brothers' in Japanese. The song that plays during this scene is also a reprise of the 'Brothers' theme.
This is my first time drawing Roy in anything I've posted here. Woot!! xD

Yeah, I realized, what would have been REALLY satisfying in that movie was an Elric brothers *hug*. But all we really got was Al's soul-transfer armor nearly suffocating Ed in the estate.
But at the same time, Ed's stone-face and not even saying a proper goodbye is what made the moment so heartwrenching. :< DAMN THOSE ANIME PRODUCERS, THEY KNOW JUST HOW TO DRAW OUT THE WATERWORKS~
I didn't expect Al to pop out of the armor either. xD I flipped the freak out. I was like YES!!!
Very nice work...incredible! It's a great interpretation of the scene! Wonderful job...I love the expression. And the hair...the hair...it's amazing! Great job!

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
